This year the theme of United Nation Celebration is "COMING TOGETHER WITH THOSE FURTHEST BEHIND TO BUILD AN INCLUSIVE WORLD OF UNIVERSAL RESPECT FOR HUMAN RIGHTS AND DIGNITY". This theme means all about working together to prevent poverty. Poverty is a state of being poor or lack of someting. We can prevent poverty by helping and working together. And we must give love each other to be work together. Because of love we can make things better.     A successful country is one which everyone can work hard and build better future for themselves and their kids. That Philippines is to aim high and work hard towards a better nation.

     This year the theme of the Science Month Celebration is "WAVEFRONT:ACCENTUATING ACTIVATING TECHNOLOGY ADVANCEMENTS". This theme aims to focus on giving importance to Michael Fraday's discovery of electricity and magnetism as part of the same phenomenon.      The theme also assigns to the youth and Science clubbers the responsibility or role of accentuating potential and activating technological advancement. According to the "National Science Club Month" group,the National Science Club Month is celebrated every September. Ilocos Sur National High School held exciting activities such as sci-tricks,slogan-making contest and one of the most-awaited activity was the "G. at B.b. Kalikasan". It was participated by many students and competed for the crown.      This activities enhance the students and it brought fun to everybody. If we discover our potential as early as now,we will know more about ourselves such as our strengths and our weaknesses so

     The Philippines is one of the countries in the world that is afflicted with almost all kinds of natural calamities like volcanic eruptions,earthquake,thunderstorm,typhoons,monsoon rains are some of the most dangerous calamities that are occurring in the Philippines. But despite of these strong and destructive calamities,Filipino still manage to smile.      In the year 2013 November 8,Typhoon Yolanda strikes Tacloban City. Many properties were destroyed like buildings and most of all many people died,and still unaccounted for missing persons. And many people are injured. And also their source of living or income was destroyed. Electricity and internet connection also destroyed in this calamity.      The fact that we have survived the tragedy means we still have a purpose in life. We rebuild our broken hearts and wounded lives. It is not easy but we have to stand and rise as day by day. We need to be strong and have faith in to ourselves and to God.

     Teacher's day is celebrated every year on 5th of October,to pay honor and respect to our selfless teachers and their priceless job. We are celebrating teachers day to give respect all teachers all over the world.      Teachers are an extremely important facet of any society for a number of reason and their role in society is both significant and valuable. Teachers gives their extraordinary part in the lives of children for the formative years of their development and the importance of teachers is something that cannot be understated.      A teacher has the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children. Teachers are facilitators and guides on a child's journey to developing essential skills and knowledge to become valued and worthwhile members of the community.
